Gonna take a educated guess and say she rejects him.



I think she see's him as a friend and hasn't thought of him as a love interest. However after turning him down I'm betting she's going to start to develop feelings for him (well after MC falls into deep depression)



Also I think that chick that likes him is going to confess, very soon. The way she acted when he asked her about confessions and it's basically fuel to the drama. I think he'll turn her down, or they will go out but they won't last long.



Guess we'll have to see, hoping it isn't as generic that I can figure out the plot this fast.
