Pretty great manga. It was fun reading about how Eikichi and Ryuuji met.

At least she didn't go to jail in the end.

Not sure why people were expecting some standalone worthy on its own. This was created as an "origin" story to Shônan Junai Gumi, it isn't even a pilot or prologue or I don't know what else.



Excellent prequel, friendship birth and origin story for Ryûji. The light social touch (especially in the second "episode") in a furyô manga is nice.

+ It benefits from the great late Shônan Junai drawings.

This was a pretty good read. My only complaint is that the fan tl I read sucked but that isn't really the manga's fault. It’s gonna take a while for me to get into Shonan Junai Gumi! and eventually GTO manga.

Well the ending was a little underwhelming but overall it was an awesome read.

This was great, learning about he origin of a few thing like the name Onibaku.

that was a pretty generic story, yes... but i never got bored of reading it, i think this series needed to be longer and develop the chapters better but i'm going to read shonan junai gumi! so anyway, i hope shonan is better in that way

The beginning was promising, so I expected more. But in the end it's just an ordinary story, nothing special. It's not really worth much without its sequels.
