Arghhh ffs, that's sad... poor Ryuji

Ayumi’s decision is completely justified, she made a good decision. I feel for Ryuuji, but I have never cared for Ayumi due to their 8 year age difference. Plus with nearly 200 chapters left in the series, I couldn’t see them getting married for real. Overall solid arc, tho last arc was stronger due to a better villain. Oobaku was stronger for sure, but he was comically evil, compared to the little brother. That guy was intimidating the entire way through, unlike this Oobaku guy who was so pathetic and hateable. Pretty sure that was the point, but overall still a good arc.

I get her point, and obviously it would have been the end of the series without the full onibaku, but it's still really sad.
