Angel Sanctuary Chapter 1 Discussion

Okay, a lot happened in the first chapter alone. The pacing is to fast; that is why the interaction and build up are ruined. I see it is your typical dark romance story of early 2000s with the incest. I feel sad for Sara's friend that he protected on her sister. I hope she doesn't continue down a spiral and get her vision back.

                Uh kinda confusing... but well I guess it's your initial and this will get clearer while you advance further into the story... I feel sorry for the poor Ruri... Mmmm kinda disliked the art but what the hell it's kinda old ne?

My friend recommended this manga for me and yeah, this is really confusing. But i really do hope it gets much clearer.

The art is rather old, many dislike it, but I just fell in love with it! And I really don't know why xD I'm thinking of buying this manga. The scanlations and their translation are just terrible, i barely understand anything :/

This is what I understood:



Alexiel is the name of an female angel who revolted against God.

His body is sealed somewhere, but his soul incarnated in earth as a male human, Setsuna.

Setsuna isn't aware of this. Also he has a crush on his own sister.

Kurai and his friend are trying to awake Setsuna.

Kind of interesting, and yes, a bit confusing. But that's all right for the first chapter.

Looks like we have brother and sister love here.

It was good to see how thing were set at the very first chapter.

If those siblings don't sleep with each other before the end of the story, I'll be disappointed.
