Right? I wax shocked at how in tune Yukimura was with this issue in his portrayal of it. Seemed as if he had seen this closeup or educated himself appropriately.
Really like how they expand on more of the cast’s backstories; in the anime they showed Yuri’s the most even though Hachi and Ai were the “main-main” characters. Showing the racism Fee’s uncle faces is really something.
Wow actual space warfare between nations as opposed to just terrorist attacks.
It's a nice change of pace to see a manga that displays black characters facing racism instead of displaying black characters in a racist manner (which seems more common).
