A few pages later they start bitching about how humans have little regard for lesser species. Why can't that be just "how things are"?

Not to mention they also say, "Even if hundreds or millions of you were to die, it would be of no importance of us. From our point of view, you are microscopic. No more than insects."

Isn't that way of thinking, human-like and arrogant? They are saying that humans are inconsequential to the bigger picture and to them. It does sound like human arrogance at first but it makes no mention of an existentialist superiority to give themselves importance which they dismissed as a human trait.

I'm with the people who wants more answers. Been waiting for years and after this teaser I want more!

The room itself was great! Its the first WTF-GANTZ moment for me since the invasion began. Love the faces, just oh gosh, don't let this thread turn into a Nazi thread.

-"Why can't people live without sacrificing others?"

-"That's how things are"

An ant cannot suffer like a human being (not even close) so comparing a human's life with an ant's is quite unscientific, but whatever.According to that, Human Perception has an universal value, and beings that don't share it are inferior. But isn't that just saying different=inferiority?

While human feelings are relevant to human interaction, they aren't for other species. Wouldn't we be from their perspective different, and as such, inferior?

Lets make one thing clear, humans used to be almost as dumb as animals and today after hundreds of thousands of years of existence have the intelligence to discover things about the nature of reality and moreover have the technology that gives us the ability to speak to each other about this subject from different places all over the world (like we're doing now). Meanwhile, animals live exactly the same way they did hundreds of thousands of years ago.. And I'm not saying animal's feelings are not important, but any neurologist can tell you that the suffering of ant or even a chicken isn't comparable to the suffering of a human being.

I don't think it's very controversial to say that humans are superior in many ways.. If you just want to call it "different" that's fine, but I don't think that's an accurate description.

I understand what your trying to say, but you forget that the theory of evolution is a theory which means it's not proven. You cant really know we evolved from primitive beings.

Great chapter! Finally we understand what's going on.

Although I have to say that I disagree completely with the message and philosophy that this manga is trying get across. An ant cannot suffer like a human being (not even close) so comparing a human's life with an ant's is quite unscientific, but whatever.

I think the faces on the aliens are just a way for them to communicate with humans better. They speak human language and they use faces that we are familiar with to get the message across better.

But any-who......OH MI GOD!!!! This chapter answered 368 chapters worth of questions!!

I was kind of ticked of tho. I felt like kei and friends should have been asking a lot more questions.

Like "how are humans able to be revived". If I was in their position, I would be asking a hell of a lot more questions about the world. They also should have asked why their eyes were bleeding.

It said that those people inside the gantz balls were interpritations of randomnly selected people0 hence the revival system. I'm probably wrong but what I'm saying is a guess.

So they revived ppl by copying their brain and putting them in those white gantz bodies?

How they revive people is quite simple actually. The machine that transfers them is a kind of teleportation machine. Teleporting works by analyzing the molegular-atomic structure of an object and recreating them in another place while destroying the one in the first place. So in reality is just a copy maker not really a transfer, that's how teleporting actually works and that is a big debate between science fiction fans on whether anyone would actually use such a machine because in reality the original dies.

Anyway from the moment that machine analyzed their bodies then it can basically make copies of them as much as it likes. So they didn't actually revived, it just that the machine has a copy of their molecular structure. You should have realized as much from the fact that there are two Kurono's. If it was real revival then it wouldn't be possible to have two of them.

So as you see anyone with a little science knowledge already knows that answer and doesn't need to ask said question.

^That's your answer
