Nishi suddenly trying to negotiate about bringing his girl back after he himself just blew her up was absurd. It's a good thing that all the things Tae went through increased her grip strength well enough to keep her hanging on that ledge for as long as she did.



There're still threats everywhere both in that ship and on the surface though...

So just lots of recaps about Kei's morals... Boring

nope nishi shouldn't have died. instead tae and those shitty aliens should have died. kei wasted a perfect chance to end this war. now, if more people die, it will be his fault

lol, how the hell did Izumi manage to kill this girl once? She takes the term 'plot armor' to the next level, holy crap. Immortal characters of other manga have nothing on her, she's the pinnacle of survivability.

What the hell is going on? Nishi was always an asshole and a douchebag, but his attempt on Tae's life and his subsequent reaction to her supposed death turned him into a psychopath. Izumi was the psychopath, not Nishi.



And then he's trying to be buddy-buddy("hey, man, don't worry, we can bring her back anyway") with Kurono, and Kurono almost listens to him, even after supposedly killing his girl.



This arc is all over the place.

And it was really my top favorite manga/ top favorite story at some point in the past, it's incredible how much it sank.
