GANTZ Chapter 267 Discussion

Holy motherfu-
Nurarihyon and a humongous mech. this chapter just smacks of epic-ness. even though the Nurarihyon was just hit by two shots of the BFG, it doesn't seem to be slowing down or does it plan to. as for Oka's mech, I wasn't expecting the part we saw in the earlier chapter to be just a segment of the leg. that thing's enormous.
I thought that Katou was rather impressive in this chapter. while he was intimidated by what was in front of him, he was still composed and didn't stay still. the part where Katou hurled Anzu over the bridge made me lol though.
on the other hand, there was Nishi. He looked completely pathetic in this chapter. He didn't deserve all the hype that he got before. Seems like he's just a one trick pony with nothing but sneak attacks up his sleeve.
Next chapter, The Tokyo team takes center stage...or will it be Oka? I can't wait for chapter 268.

I doubt it was an "acid bubble" because Nishi's arm looked like it was blow apart, like with some kind of psychic blast. If it was acid then his arm would have melted to the bone or just gone cleanly like Kurono's leg.
Well I wonder what else it would transform into because all transformations seemed pretty strong. ^_^
The "psychic blast" theory seems plausible, given that other people have been able to use similar powers already in the manga.

One thing that was unclear.. what exactly was Nurarihyon killing stuff with? The tentacle thingies?
WTF! That is was I was thinking... All we see is "Hu hu hu..." then Nishi is ripped apart. That 100 pointer is just too much; exactly what is the casual Tokyo team gonna do there without Kurono to pumped them up? ^_^

well i thought it was just him raping everyone with just his evil laugh but a friend of mine said it was like some acid bubble of something dont quote me on that one...well unless u have to quote what i said to respond to it lol
but seriously reading gants u have to reread it like twice just to figure out how one panel went to another, the action is to actiony for my mind to process all at once, that and the drawings are sometimes very confusing but how can u not love gants after making an huge boobs and pussy erotic girl monsters that will fuck u in both senses of the word lol its just awesome cant wait till next chapter XD
