                        Are Masaru and Kei (girl) really thinking he was cruel for doing that? Showing off perhaps ... But I mean, it's clear at this point that pitying them is only going to get them killed ... and they are probably just creations anyways made by Gantz, not even sure they are "alive" ...

Well they could have used the capturing gun. not to mention the fact that  he shot the arms when it was no longer necessary as he could have just gone for the head at that point.

Kurono was so badass in taking down one of the guardians that he didn't even bother capturing it anymore and opted to finish it off himself. Kato's a bit unnerved at how casual his friend looked when he was doing something so brutal like that and the whole thing definitely took a lot out of him...
