Claymore Chapter 132 Discussion

A lot of dialogue in this chapter. It seems like a calm before the storm kind kind of thing. Milia is trying to get a broad alliance going against Priscilla.



I though it was cute how Clare got concerned about Raki talking to the Awakened Ones.



I don't think Raki will become a Claymore like some are predicting, but rather he will maybe combine the full self possession of a human, with the fighting talents of the Claymore. Of course, having briefly had Priscilla's flesh on his body might make him something altogether different (maybe he'll be able to read her youma?).

lol riful trolling everyone again.... now we gonna have another abyssal in the mix....

a lot of talk but I guess the good part is that Riful is back (or half of it)

So Riful (Or some remnants of her) returns. I wonder if this means we'll see Isley again too?

I find myself enjoying dialog heavy Claymore chapters more than the action packed. Those are always over so soon without anything happening that furthers the plot.

i think this episode was ok, you can't have non-stop action all the time...at some point there has to be a pause to give place to some explanation and plot furthering via conversation :|

that said, i really disliked how clare behaved in this episode, it put me off big time

in a matter of two panels she went from being a badass warrior to a whiny girlfriend, and totally destroyed her image that had been building from day one years ago...thus taking a sexist approach to what was IMHO a very mature take on female warriors, very very scarce now a days (sexy outfits not withstanding)

i'm both upset and sad now...rant over



PS: i really really hope raki is the first one to get eaten by priscilla, and maybe by doing so clare will once again become a revenge-driven murderous warrior and stop playing sweet-hearts with a humey (diminutive of human? haha )

Yeah, lets just have an eternal battle and eliminate the need for dialogue. Seriously, some readers' lust for action puzzles me.
