It kind of annoys me how Clare and them are played off as being so much stronger now than they used to be, and yet Duff is still a problem for them to the point of them having to flee. When you consider that Riful is much stronger than Duff, Clare and everyone are still far too weak to be the main players in this story. I hate when the power hierarchy of a manga or anime starts to not follow itself.
Regardless, I still like the manga, but I'm more interested in seeing the Raki plot play out right now (And with Clare going to save that other Claymore, maybe she'll find out a little information leading to him?). With the month-long waits though, it could be a half a year or more until anything significant happens for all anyone knows.
I wish manga these days didn't act on an such an endless and unknowable timeline. I don't really think that it should take decades to tell a single story, unless in the case that the individual parts work as a stand-alone story as well, such as a Star Wars type series.
