Yeah i'm really glad that he's not yoma....which brings me to the question, how on earth is he gonna defeat an awakened being?? i think it'll be the little girl's time to step in then. yeah i think it'll be too obvious for it to be priscilla and if it was then she would have taken off her hood as well...anyway we'll find out soon... by the way anybody got the mangaka's address details or telephone number (so far i can say konichiwa and arigato.lol) coz  i seriously think that this series should be every week not monthly otherwise this'll just end up like blade of the immortal (amazing manga) and last for 10 years.lol

That last panel with Raki made me laugh. His left hand looks massive =p

But anyway, totally going with the daughter of raki+priscilla for the identity of the girl. would make for a cool twist.

Awesome chapter. The more I read Claymore, the more i love it, and the more I hate that it's monthly. Same with Gantz.>__< Nice to see Raki is a bada** now. Even though I didn't mind him before the 7 years passed.

Also coul someone explain what GAR means?>_>

Of course!~

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GAR

(j/k)

Overall, GAR is a synonym for "extreme manliness", the term is derived from the name "Harlock". Most of "GAR" characters have a tleast some features of Captain Harlock

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Captain_Harlock

Short explanation:

GAR is so manly that he can make straight men go gay and women become pregnant just from being in his presence.

ontopic:

I doubt that girl is priscila. hell, maybe she is even human - just with Sixth sense, like Miata's. It would make a perfect sense for Raki to be in all-human team.

historical scottish (braveheart/william wallace) 2-handed claymores are 4-5 feet long only.

Raki is actually using a broad sword from Rabona (he somehow managed to keep it the entire time, lol), given to him by Galk+Cid, after Clare defeated the SNY in the cathedral back in first few chapters in the manga.

Raki's is not using a Claymore's claymore sword.

I kinda liked Raki when he was smaller. Oh well, he kicks ass now though :P

1. Anime does not count.

2. Time does not matter. Raki was trained BY THE BEST weapon master with lots of experience and knowledge on how abs/yoma work.

3. The speed was NOT inhuman - he just acted too fast for others to notice. Hell, no one expected him to move after all. And we do not know - all the "decent" humans we seen was bandit leader, cid, galk and raki(now). This brings to 4.

4. Cid and Galk did put up quite a fight against Claire back then and they managed to  surprise the Eater  in church from behind. If it was just simple normal yoma - it would be dead by that moment. I Knowing the fact about surprise kills in Claymore, its all what would matter. And the Bandit Leader was quite sure of himself being able to handle yoma. So its not like humans are too weak.  Also if humans were unable to fight yoma, Rabona would be already gone.

It's like Kyubey all over again.

Anywas, hahaha, that's the Raki I've been waiting for, since the anime.

- Isley & Priscilla's daughter (Possible too)

That's gotta be it. If we follow Checkov's rule, there's gotta be a reason why Priscilla was declared to be Isley's bride(or smt, at least that they were in love as I recall), and not just his master.
