I guess Clare might not have been able to take her after all 😅 and Ilena’s comments make more sense now too

Rubel is caught lying about Clare surviving this mission/incident by Rimuto, whom orders Ermita to have Galatea immediately retrieve Clare.
Witches Maw arc:
Galatea meets up with Clare and they plus Jean defeat Dauf.
Unknown to Galatea, Alicia + ?Orsay? was also sent to scan Riful in the Zakol Mtns.
Riful did not like being spied/analyzed/scanned upon by Alicia, which is probably why Riful didn't engage/kill Clare, Galatea, and Jean.
Well, Galatea was obviously caught lying that she, Clare, and Jean actually did encounter Riful and survived. She was confined to the Org HQs until the new Eye, Renee, was ready to replace her (which would mean the Org executes Galatea as she was becoming too disloyal).
Rubel might have "negiotiated" Galatea from being executed on the spot for lying.
Anyways, Rubel with Rafaela, than tracks down Clare and gets her to go to Pieta.
Rafaela is secretly ordered to go to Pieta as well with Renee, to KILL OFF any of the 24 Claymores whom might try to flee or should they possibly survive the Pieta Battle.
Meanwhile, Rubel goes back to the Org HQs, and AFTER the Pieta Battle, allows Galatea to see Awakened Alicia+Beth+Soul Link in action, knowing it will disturb Galatea, seeing Alicia+Beth ruthlessly conditioned into lifeless/emotionless slave doll weapons, and cause her to run away, instead of waiting around to get executed.
Unknown to EVERYONE (Isley, Priscilla, the 23 surviving ABs, Rafaela, and Renee), 7 Claymores (Miria, Cynthia, Deneve, Helen, Tabatha, Yuma, and Clare) actually do survive the Pieta Battle thanks to the halved Yoki Suppression Pills' (YSPs') effects, and being knocked unconscious fooling everyone into thinking they were dead/killed.
After the Pieta Battle:
So, 12 of the 23 surviving ABs go west to attack Riful, whom with Dauf, kills all 12 of them with ease. Riful than "runs" to try to get to Luciela first, to ally up with Luciela against Isley, but she was too late.
the other 11 of the 23 surviving ABs go to the east to attack the Org HQs
Isley, Priscilla, and Raki keep heading south to Luciela, whom Isley battles alone.
After the Pieta Battle, Rafaela than goes AWOL with information from Rubel about Luciela, and heads south along with Isley as well, to Luciela.
Meanwhile the 7 Claymores (now "Ghosts") regain consciousness and hide-staying in the northern land for what will be 7 years.
Isley get's there (to the southern land, Mucha) first and battles Luciela, but then Rafaela arrives as naked true-real (human) bodied Luciela is getting her breath after running away from Isley.
and we know the rest... (see my above post).
meanwhile, Priscilla (within some nearby cottage with Raki, whom is making her mandarins) senses Riful's+Dauf's approach towards Isley, and quickly flies over to Isley knowing he's too weak/exhausted/yoki drained to fight against Riful+Dauf.
Riful turns away in disgust and a rare instance of anguish, as she senses that Priscilla, a female, is more powerful than herself!

Rafaela lost her eye from Luciela's Awakening incident. That's why her eye is mising. Rafaela is extremely powerful, sent to execute (and presumably did so) Irene. Making Rafaela more powerful then rank 2 Irene of the Quick Sword....

And Luciela's human mind did seem to return, with Abyssal One Luciela crying about/for her beloved younger sister Rafaela. Unfortunately, her Abyssal One/Yoma mind shortly took back over, causing Luciela to start talking about conquest and killing/finishing off Isley.
Realizing it was impossible to save (de-Awaken) Luciela, Rafaela then kills Luciela.
Yes, Rafaela hug-crushed Luciela to death (you can see the limp hand of Luciela, signaling she was killed).
But, read on to find out what else Rafaela did (AFTER killing Luciela) causing something to happen... *grins*
