Claymore Chapter 4 Discussion

A little strange. If Claymores still have self-control to send their cards, why don't they kill themselves? It would be way easy.

It sucks her only friend had to die but that's what she wanted. *shrugs*

Wow...just finished Volume 1 of Claymore. Nice to read something for the first time that affected me emotionally like this!

||So apparently Claymores eventually become full blown monsters over time, and when they feel they're close, they call a black letter, which essentially is a request that another Claymore end them before they become one, and can die as a human.



In the final volume Clare has to kill her best friend, with the friend that she's made begging her not to do it! It's so tragic!||

This is where Raki really was being annoying but to bad he friend was at her limits..

Did the author really say “retard” at the end of this volume? Or is that just a bad english translation?

This is getting good. Claire's only friend got killed by her and now she erased the only memory.welp she has raki though

So there's basically a timelimit for their 'existence'...

The art and writing is very clean in this manga

In any case, I liked how dark this turned. No holding back, Elena seemed like a good person, but she had to go. What a sad life.

the whole black card thing is pretty interesting. really adds some depth clare's character and the world rather than it being so black and white.

Raki please don't end up being an annoying idiot haha OBVI she had to fight Elena, she was gonna become a monster! As if it wasn't already tough enough for Clare to kill her best friend :(
