I'll have to disagree with being satisfied with the first scenario. Because honestly, it would kind of feel like a huge punch in the face. Idk, maybe I'm biased because I'm trans, but I just don't think I'd be happy Nitori suppressing their gender identity and having that be the end. It seems really...anticlimactic.

But yeah it kind of does feel it's dragging on a bit, but I've stuck with the series for 3 years, so I can wait for it to catch up.Well of the 2 choices I do prefer the second one. I think it would be more interesting, though I have this feeling it's not going to happen....hope I'm wrong.

----------------------------------------

I like this manga but it's starting to feel a little longer than it needs to be. There are one of two ways I would like to see this manga end.

1. Nitori accepts that he is a man and stops dressing like a girl...or

2. Nitori decides to go through with a sex change and they show him adjusting to it.

Of course, in either scenario I would like to see relationships solidify (or not if that's the author's choice). Maybe it's just me that feels like this story is starting to drag just a little. I do like the premise though and there doesn't seem to be that many stories that cover it (that I noticed anyways).

The chapters focusing on his voice changing or him getting older are so depressing. I just want Nitori to be able to be who he wants.

The time to make the big "decision" Chiba talked about is upon Nitorin. Unfortunately for him his body is changing rapidly - if he wants to undergo hormone replacement therapy (and, eventually, fully transition) the time to start is now. His family would freak out at the beginning, but I believe they would eventually support him.

I put "decision" between quotation marks because by now I am pretty sure that the only correct path for Nitorin to take is transitioning. Talk of him "growing out of it" is just not realistic at this point.

That decision affects Anna as well - her sexuality has been ambiguous from day one, and she's attracted to both Nitorin's female and male characteristics... Would she be okay with dating an actual woman?
