Poor Mako-chan. He is cute! T_T And I really like his mom in this chapter. xD She's just great.

Darn, Mako makes a much better girl that he'd ever think. And it's nice to see his mom being understanding to this extend, though i'm not sure if she's actually serious or joking, at least partially.

It hurts to see Anna say that she doesn't have a boyfriend on TV. But at the same time, seeing what industry she's in it definitely makes sense too. If she said she did, I think it'd cut her opportunities by quite a lot. But it still hurts, especially since Anna has been nothing but perfect so far. I hope this doesn't lead to anything bad.

Maho clearly cares about Shuichi. I wish her actions would reflect that.

Definitely yeah. I like how much she cares about Shuu, but she's like a tsundere and can't really be honest about it. I too wish she would be more honest about it.

Until this chapter I took Mako's indecisiveness as evidence that he was simply gay. It is interesting to have a confirmation of his (her?) is a transsexualism. His situation is pretty bad at the moment, but at least he has an "embarrassing family" that most people would kill to have - and he knows it.

The bad news is that Anna is not simply a model, but part of the Japanese idol industry, one of the weirdest/most disgusting forms of entertainment I've ever heard about. Nitorin's mom casually saying "she has to say that on TV..." makes me wonder about just how normal that kind of thing is considered to be by the Japanese society. Anna is still amazing, but since up to now she has been this manga's embodiment of everything that is good about the world I feel quite uncomfortable about her choice of profession.

Maho clearly cares about Shuichi. I wish her actions would reflect that.

Mako's supportive mother is a really nice thing to see after the last couple chapters triggered my dysphoria
