Acnologia should be able to eat the fairy sphere as well. Motion sickness is the only way to go at this point.

Anna explained that they were kicked out because Acno only needed Dragon Slayers in there.

Kinda feels rushed, but given there's only 5-6 chapters left, I guess it can't be helped. Lucy betting everything on Fairy Sphere working is a major suicide mission.



If they do happen to seal him in Fairy Sphere, what then though? He'll still be alive, and given how shounens work, he'd eventually break free, some 200 years later. I doubt he'll be stuck on a boat forever in dragon form. Unless killing his human form kills his dragon form? (Don't remember if that was explained) I just hope he doesn't end up turning into a Nakama though.



This final arc has been relatively meh overall, with inconsistent writing and some stale chapters, which upsets me. But alas, I've noticed final shounen arcs tend to all have the same issue for the most part.
