I'm so fuckin confused, this was trash and a bit good. When Mavis went full Yandere, I didn't like that. But I liked their moments cause it was kinda sweet.



BUT MY GOD WHEN MAKAROV OPENED HIS I DIED LAUGHING, IS THIS FOR REAL?



God my love for Fairy tail up til the magic games will never fade but this is pure trash, unbelievable

I am really sad though ..... cause it used to be one of the best stories ever ... now it just turned into a trash Makarov , come's back for no such a good reason ... Mavis Zeref die's together lol ! he just dies??!? thats all ?!?! really ?!?! i hoped that he fix the last chapter in this one somehow ... but he made it worst ... if it continues like that ... i afraid to make it's rate less than 7

And people said this arc was going to be better than Tartaros... I knew this arc would give Mashima trouble the moment he introduced the spriggans



The Nine Demon Gates was the main problem... NOT Zeref. In doing so. More effort was put into them.. They were somewhat generic but caused mental and physical stress to the point FT disbanded. It was a back and forth battle between them and FT. Almost won had not the Dragons shown up



Fast forward to Alvarez were the main focus was to be Natsu Zeref and Acnologia. Introducing TWELVE NEW CHARACTERS was one of the dumbest moves he could ever make in this series. As we've seen with GMG he has trouble juggling a large cast of characters which in turn made this arc a mess and made it seem like Hiro was just going through the motions till it was evident he just sped through this to let it end

Well yeah that's pretty far from the translation I did read first. Ok I can accept it now.



But unfortunately the whole arc was still terrible.

Perfectly valid complain, nonetheless the very same chapter gives an explanation for this occurence. One felt genuine love for the other hence, he killed the person he loved despite her immortality, while the other person was a pretender. I assume that with your 30+ years of age you had plenty of relationships in your lifetime with differing levels of affection towards your former girlfriends and possibly your wife, of which some felt genuine love towards you, while you only were interested in some of their other qualitiesl





Ehhh... can someone explain to me why all of you are saying that Mavis DIED back then? Beacuse she didn't, she got into some sort of magic coma/fake death and turned into Fairy Heart, hell Precht kept her underground to try to wake her up and in that state she managed to give birth to August. So no, Zeref kiss didn't kill Mavis so there is NO REASON why her kiss should kill him. End of story. This is pure BS.





On the chapter as a whole: you know a few months (year?two?) ago on a different forum I've written that Mashima is trying really hard to follow in footsteps of Kishimoto-senpai and Kubo-senpai with their horrible last arcs. Well I was wrong, now I think it went somehow like this:





Kishimoto: Well guys, the last arc was a disaster and don't even start me on fight with Kaguya.



Kubo: You call that a disaster? Mine was cancelled so I had to wrap it really fast and kill unkillable character with cheat skill and leave massive amount of plotlines. You can't do worse than THAT.



Mashima: Rly? Hold my beer.



Yeah, trash/10.

On topic, as a chapter, it was good one, but I can't seem to like it. Seriously, Bleach ending felt more satisfying and that says a lot
