Fairy Tail Chapter 507 Discussion

Now Mashima has really done it..while we were under the impression that the "Hot" Lady Eileen  is either Erza's mother or sister...he has fired a total twist.



Erza is Eileen and Eileen is Erza....!!! ...??



What the heck???.



'am just eagerly awaiting the next chapter.

Who IS Irene? She can't be Knightwalker cos AFAIK she and Scarlet left on good/neutral terms. Can't be future Erza especially if she ends up as the next master of FT.



Some OTHER twisted dimension's Erza? That would be kinda lame. Their magic types don't even match. One is a knight and the other is a full-on mage.



If it turns out like a Piccolo/Kami BS I'm gonna be annoyed.

How in the world does Ezra stop Devil slayer magic and the attack of a demon with her barehands ?

Erza stopped Natsu and Gray the way any woman can easily stop a man.....with her tits. Lol anyway, it's a shame that this Natsu vs. Gray fight was foreshadowed for a while and then it only lasted like 5 chapters. I doubt the fight will be re-visited, nor did it really make sense in the first place, so this was pretty lame.



August is kicking some ass, and I'd like for Mashima to give him more screen time since he's been so hyped up, but instead we get more of this Eileen/Erza nonsense. Eileen is Erza? I'll be optimistic and hope she's not Erza from either the future or a parallel universe. Like someone else above said, maybe she artificially created Erza from herself and that's what she means. Or maybe Erza lost everything she had at Fairy Tail and eventually became Eileen. OR........they're just mother and daughter, which was my immediate thought when Eileen first came into the picture.

The more likely scenario still is that they are mother and daughter and that was just an exaggerated way to say they are blood related. Or Irene created Erza with magic from her own cells, so technically "“I am you.” You are me.”"makes more sense as it's literal. Or Erza's a sword and Irene lost control over her (highly unlikely).



None of this helps me know how to feel ;_;



I had the sword theory as well and I have an idea why Mashima would go for that route.



Judging from Japanese as a language the most likely option for Eileen is her being Erza´s mother, however, with the introduction of different timelines she could very well be just an alternative version of Erza. As Edolas probably is also just an alternative timeline similar to that of future Lucy just more different, the same way Eileen could be a version of Erza from a different timeline.



Now to my explanation as to why the sword theory could make sense. Fairy Tail consists mostly of humans  however Mashima always made tolerance a theme in his story. During the moondrip arc he introduced good natured demons. However none of this is represented within the main cast of  Fairy Tail, the only non human they guild has is Loke (Leo) who is a celestial spirit and the cats If Natsu turns out to be a full blown demon and Erza and artifical human that´s actually a magically enchanted sword it´d further enhance that notion of acceptance and add another layer of morals to the story.



This however is highly unlikely as he´d earn all the rage of his fans and avoided the route of the artifical human already in Rave where he retconned the origin of a certain character.

Honestly it was a solid chapter. Erza's words stopping Natsu and Gray was fitting and I'm glad the fight ended without them hurting each other too badly. Jellal and crew look like they're in deep shit though, I wonder what they will do to even attempt to match August. Also looking forward to the Eileen Vs. Erza fight and I'm really interested in how they're connected. Looks like Wendy will get to be part of the fight too hopefully :D

If Irene turns out to be the Edolas version, a future Erza or a parallel world Erza then I am done with Fairy Tail and its author who could have finished it when it was a decent series.

I can take alllll the cheesy phrases, cliches and the overused useless fanservice but there should be a limit.
