Okay, I'm just gonna say it, there's a 50/50 chance for Gajeel to come back, or not. If he does, people shouldn't be surprised, and not because this is Fairy Tail, and people don't die, or it's a shonen and the important characters must come back (NNT did something similar today, which for me it's meh...). But because he was sucked in somewhere, maybe his molecules shrinked, or something similar (kinda like how Deadpool was brought back from that state, of course different powers, but it's a example). Or he can remain dead, gotta say he's probably one of Fairy Tail's best written character.

Come on now, 488 chapters in and you guys still don't know that this is just Hiro's method to fully heal Gajeel from ingesting magic barrier particles?



Apparently reviving someone is easier than finding proper solution to heal.

Except that's not true at all. Mirajane had already started to recover her magic and self during the Festival when she destroyed FREED with her returned magic.

But that is true, mirajane fought only to protect her brother, after freed whipped him good, she did not involve herself in combat, even in the most dire situations despite having so much power. Plus if you recall, she kind of had mini mental break, that was not healing, and afterwards instead of continuing on to help Ezra and natsu she lost her will to fight again. It was only when lissanna returned home alive Mira overcame her trauma. As said by her during her fight with the executioner during the  dragon invasion arc.

Still emotionally to see Levy and Lily like that, they are out of the fight, but don't despair, if Byakura can come back, than so can Gajeel.



Irene vs Achnologia in coming, I wonder if they do have a past, I still think Achnologia played some role in Irene and Erza's separation, I guess we will find out.



I thought someone in Fairy Tail would do something stupid to destroy any hopes of negociation with August, I just didn't think it would be Mest, though I did think the grandpa thing with Brandish was so adorable, but dam it Mest, I guess you can take the man out of the duchbag council, but you can't fully take out the duchbac council out of the man, that was just a short sighted duchbag magic council thing to do, and all it did was pissed off August, what was he thinking, did he think that would kill August, giving last chapter he knew the difference in strength. And I hope Brandish doesn't turn on us because of this, I mean who could blame her.



Anyway this was a good chapter, though I know Gajeel is coming back, we have this big battle with Acnologia that we will need all dragon slayers for, not to mention Gajeel is very popular, he was the star of his own spinoff series, and Fairy Tail is suppose to be a happy manga, so he will be back.



He was not sucked into another dimension. He was scattered into Magic Barrier Particles. Not the same thing at all

Jesus Christ, the stupidity in this manga in becoming unbearable now...Fucking Mest had ONE JOB, to be irrelevant fodder just standing idle on some panels, and we have this fucking NOBODY go around and mess what could've been some really interesting and freshening dialogue. Just whatever, fuck me. This kind of forced development pisses me off to no end.

What did he expect out of that little stunt? To kill this mage of otherworldly strength? With a simple blade? Since when do people in this world suffer any type of mortal wounds through usual means? People could have nukes dropped on top of their heads and they would be fine if the plot said so. Maybe plant a thought involving the use of Brandish's actual powers? No? Ok.

In my opinion Gajeel is alive in the underworld, but he may as well miss the rest of FT manga or appear at the end
Maybe Hiro did this as a set up for the Light Novel, and Gajeel and Levy twins are going to save him from the underworld, i mean if not what reason would Hiro have to drop an "image of the twins"

You do realize there is a very simple solution to allow those kids to exist. Gajeel knocked Levy up the night before war



You do realize that im not talking about the kids existing, obviously if i were to believe the spoilers from the light novel, we know that Levy is pregnant, i just said that the "kids" being shown in FT manga, may imply that Gajeel is on the "underground" or any other place, and he may not appear in the rest of the series or just appear at the end, so Gajeel can be brought back in a spinoff or in another arc (its just my guess that is going to be a spin off since FT apparently is almost ending



That doesn't make any sense. If the kids can exist just by Levy being pregnant already, then it doesn't stand as evidence of Gajeel coming back at all.
