as for Gajeel versus Bradman.....I Cheer for Bradman's Victory so Spriggan 12 would get some of their Fame and Hype back.

If Eileen does anything to Acnologia, then it's nerfing Acnologia and is gonna be a huge inconsistency, considering August himself admitted he is no match for Acnologia and he is the strongest spriggan. Well Eileen can probably beat  Lol (cause she's erza/plot armour)



Obviously Gajeel is going to win (powerup, dragon force,poof game over), don't expect anything good from this arc lol, it's gonna be worse than GMG.



Just because he said his no match for Acnologia it doesn't mean he can't even touch him. It simply means he can't win in the end. Even Makarov managed to hold Acnologia for a little in his giant form.

The countdown has me unbelievably hyped. I'm praying it's Natsu in END form or him Dragonizing fully, but I'm guessing it will be something plot related. Also, just wanna take a moment to praise Hiro-sensei for his amazing artistic ability. This chapter was insanely beautiful. Also Eileen looking to take on Acnologia, seems interesting. I feel like that will lead into Natsu vs Eileen since Natsu wants to defeat Acnologia himself to avenge Igneel. Anyways, long post, tons of intesting stuff, next chapters hayaku!

Her character is the equivalent of eating a sandwich and everything falling out from the other side. She's been a mess





At this point you're arguing for no reason. The original argument was that Brandish is a crap character. Which she is and you tried to defend her and ended up criticizing Mashima's writing which has already been established



So you pretty much saying what I've been saying MM is powerful but only if the user is competent. Brandish unfortunately isn't



The 'original argument' was me saying how could anybody beat Brandish with power like hers if she were to go all out (key words: all out) and someone followed saying that Laxus could speed blitz her (which can be fairly debated in a manga like FT) and that Mass Manipulation isn't that powerful which is BS (which is MY main argument before you got involved) and I explained why Mass Manipulation is powerful with barely scratching the surface of its potential. You just came out of nowhere and I have no idea what you're talking about lol. Hi.

Hey, for those wondering how come acno has his arms back, there's a chapter in the manga whee zeref gave him artificial arm. That's the time he challenged him.

Brandish is overpowered but Hiro just pulled some stupid weakness so that they could beat her.same thing with Jacob.heck,even Dimaria.she is nothing more than comedic relief,currently,unless she starts to fight seriously.

Still don't care for the plot device which is Irene. Actually I honestly don't care for any of the Spriggans actually. But one questing still irks me...



So why is Brandish even there? Besides giving meaningless exposition? To make fanservice moments with Lucy? Im are aft disappointed about how Hiro is writing Lucy in this arc well after 465 but freaking Brandish







Hiro hyped up Brandish like no other yet she has done nothing but get embarrassed. Brandish's backstory was poorly executed and clearly ham fisted. As I stated before it barely even looked like her own backstory. It gave more insight on other characters(Layla Aquarius and Brandish's mother who we knew absolutely nothing about so she's a plot device) and it gave Brandish a poor reason to want to kill Lucy. She wanted to kill a person who had absolutely nothing to do with her problems which goes in to one dimensional "mustache twirling" category



Her character goes like this:



Shrinks island for not having her way

One shotted by Cana

Thinks she's going to get out with help

Almost killed by servant

Saved by the person she wanted to kill

Failed in actually killing her target

Reduced to cringeworthy comedy relief by Aquarius

Willfully hand out information even after stating she was still with Alvarez



Her character is all over the place and from a narrative standpoint she's arguably the most poorly written because of everything I stated before and the added fact Hiro is trying to give her a bigger role.I never expected to be on the same level as a character like Prince Zuko because let's be honest it would hard to do that for numerous reasons but I expected something better than the rushed and out of nowhere sob story that has very little to do with her



The potential she had was very quickly written away when Cana made her into a laughingstock under the excuse "she got sick" lol



Hiro really dropped the ball when written these characters. The only villain of actual depth and good backstory in this arc is the one who should be getting the most focus
