I would give this chapter 3.5/4. Overall it wasn't bad, but nothing major happened either. Brandish wanting to negotiate with August is very interesting. I wonder what August will choose? The battle to the south is wrapped up but I have a bad feeling about Jellal out chasing down fodder. The kiss was understandable and good fanservice imo. The cliffhanger with the six monster didn't really get me hyped but I do like that Gajeel kind of got his own squad.



I don't know if anyone else notice but these last few chapters seems to be the star of some kind of count down.

Yeah agree on that...but we haven't yet seen these other 6 or even how August fights? Others may have been sucked but let's say that we will see how 6 will fight and then say if the hype building for them was useless because they did not succeed the otherwise.

Actually there's only five left.  August, Invel and the Northern Forces, unless you're counting Brandish.



yeah about that...They were called Spriggan 12 even before Serena joined on them....That Means that Serena was at least 13th Member...and if he was....were is that person that he replaced or that it is mistake and it is now Spriggan 13.

Would it blow your mind if I sincerely told you that a) even as an avid yuri fan I didn't get any arousal (mostly due to Kagura's awkwardness diffusing any hint of romance involved, it'd be like getting aroused by the kiss between Naruto and Sasuke), b) I do read porn for the plot and have quit doujins for having shitty stories or characters acting OOC, and 3) even if this was meant to be comedic it didn't even get a chortle out of me?

A final "fuck you" to anyone who expected anything of her.  Honestly the entire southern force could've won thet first day if Neinhart got off his ass and DiMaria and Badd actually tried, but they screwed around, missed their chances and paid for it.  I have no sympathy for any of those three.

I suppose we will get 1 or 2 spriggan down in the next 3 chapters or so. The ssoner the better, let's take shortcuts and see what lies at the end.
