Natsu as a character actually believes he can defeat Zeref. But that´s not how Shounen work,(besides Fairy Tail when they activate Nakama power).
But that´s the EOS villain, we know that even Hiro knows how to take his time, when needed so only those 3 options come to mind of which 2 are bullshit.
The C option is actually what I was hoping in the beginning, I would love if Fairy Tail actually gets beaten up by Alvarez, because FT actually thought they could solo the Spriggans, just look at what Mavis said in this chapter.
Fairy Tail are as cocky/arrogant as the villains because they always won and never got a beaten to the point they had to think of something else and I really hate that, it's like they pay no respect to anyone whatsoever, I mean look at Natsu, he doesn't give a fuck about Zeref and just thinks he will beat Zeref and go home.
The Spriggans need to put a fear on Fairy Tail similar to what Gildarts did with Natsu back in Tenroujima.
About Natsu charging Zeref, I just can't take it serious and for me, I don't care about his fight with Zeref, it's similar with Lucy and Brandish, I only care about how/what they will talk to each other.
One thing that scares me of is how will Hiro work on the Spriggans fight, I mean most of people are thinking on situation of like Dimaria vs Erza and Kagura, but is a tag team really enough to beat one of the 12?
We have all wizards of Ishigar there, so I would love if they force a fight of like 5v1 for each Spriggan, now that would be awesome.
Also I have this feeling after this chapter that Ajeel will return and still give a tough fight.
