Here is a prediction of who the main bad guy is of this arc, when Mavis choose Percht has her successor over Yuyr , that left someone very bitter and over that bitterness, and that person left Fairy Tail went far away and vow vengeance, and that person is Yuyr Dryer's oldest son. Yuyr was cool with Mavis choose, he respected Percht like a mentor, but his oldest son was very angry, thought his father has been insulted and betrayed. So yeah the big bad is Makarov's older brother, who is probably the one that poisoned Iwan's mind and told him about Lumia Historia, we thought it was Percht, but it was Makarov bitter older brother.
There was never a mention of any brother to Makarov >_>
Well there was no mention of Alvarez till recently, so why not. I am just throwing ideas out there, if this does stem back to Mavis choose for successor, I think there is no chance they are going to make Yuyr a villain. And if you read FTZ, I can't see him go against Mavis judgement.

There were other countries mentioned, just not other continents.
Makes more sense for there to be other continents than there being none.
@Trentor, Ishgar is the continent Fiore is a country in Ishgar where there is 500 guilds total.
Yeah basically Fiore and the other named countries/kingdom that are on the Earthland map, that was known as Ishgar. And that was a continent.
I vaguely remember Ishgar getting mentioned but I think it probably has been a while.
Wondering if Zeref's influence has reached other continents or if they have people over there that have been cursed like Zeref has.

In the forum I read to accompany Mashima's twitter,they translated a post he made about a videogame he played that spoils the next arcs of fairy tail,and that he was wondering if there was still time to change somethings. Someone joked that it was awakening while others were wondering if the game was some kind of divine work,lol.
Well,the cat is out of the bag. I could be mistaken,but the similarities are staggering. Well,if anyone decides to bitch about Awakening here,call the mods. Simple as that.
Well,Robin rebelled against his purpose by Killing Grima,so perhaps Natsu will do the same by sparing Zeref or find a way to clear his curse. yeah I think so too esoecially if he finds out Zeref is his big brother he'll probably go ONII-CHAN!!!! Lol. But seriously just like Gray couldn't kill his newfound Dad Natsu probably won't be able to kill his newfound brother the only diff was there was someone else to help kill silver but only Natsu can kill zeref

If you look up "Earth Land" on the fairy tail wiki you can see the Ishgar map.
I would say it has, Zeref can teleport and Acnologia can fly at amazing speeds as a Dragon. For all we know, they probably spend more time in other continents.
Plus when Gildarts was first introduce, and said that he encountered Acnologia, Natsu was rushing to where Acnologia was last spotted by Gildarts, and Gildarts said "He might be gone, flying around the continent or world" or something like that.
