The difference between Naruto and this(apart from this not being written by typewritter monkeys) is that Natsu's promise is far more sensible and fitting - he is not promising to bring back a runaway romance. He is reassuring Lucy that he will put the guild back together n o matter what and asking to trust him for now no matter how weird his actions might seem.  Nardo made a childish reassurance to a deadweight character for a selfish wish. Natsu is not "reassuring" Lucy or promising something - he is asking for her trust because he knows she has problems with that after everyone left.



Either way  it has absolutely no similarities to Naruto and Lucy looks uncomfortable with Nasu hiding stuff from her - certainly won't help her trust issues.



No, my friend, I believe Naruto is a piece of trash manga that deserves to be forgotten and bashed. I'm terribly sorry if you make such assumptions based on such superficial little statements and write three paragraphs trying to show how Fairy Tail is different of Naruto only because I made a little joke based on similar LINES, nothing more.



The problem is you're not the first to make that joke and some of those who made it before are actually serious. So while he did overreact a little it's kinda justified given the crap that came before it

To be fair Natsu's memory for important things has never been bad. And the warning from Future Rogue WAS pretty damn big since that event led to Future Lucy dying and the entire Evil Rogue timeline

And nice resolution between Lucy and Minerva too. Could Minerva be targetted by Gray since she is technically a demon and Sabertooth is one guild that interfered with Zeref in Tartaros Arc and was key in defeating Tartaros alongside FT?



Either way Lucy looks uncomfortable with Nasu hiding stuff from her - certainly won't help her trust issues.

i am pretty sure that either he is being subtly influenced by his magic(Possession would mean that his will was subjugated and that another being is pulling the shots) and/or that he infiltrated the guild in order to locate Zeref. Either way,I think he did this willing,even if he was manipulated.



Plus,we need a hook that leads to E.N.D's rebirth. This is the perfect opportunity,specially if Grey or Avatar knows about Natsu's true nature.



Hyping Gray up?.......You really don't know me. I am the last person in this universe who would hype Gray up.



Like I said in an earlier post, this arc is made to indebt Gray to Natsu so that when Natus turns into END Gray won't fight to kill him but to turn him back just like Natsu will do for Gray in this arc.

I am saying just wait a little longer before reading the raws, I know sometimes these omakes and special chapter come out and I am not sure when it is going to be translated or if at all, and just lose patient and read the raws.



But at least I know this is getting translated.
