Fairy Tail Chapter 418 Discussion

that was a great chapter. best timeskip in shounen. I wonder what the next arc will be. I kind of hope they travel around finding all the other FT members

So will FT be back soon?

This chapter was great. Everyone went their way and that's cool. As I said before, it was a chance for Mashima to explore characters individually. If you called Lucy working as a reporter/editor congratualations. I hope this arc will be about Lucy and Natsu travelling the world trying to gather everyone back. If you look closelly, Gray was near Juvia, and looks like Levy wasn't with with Gajeel... Is she with Raijin Shun? Lucy put them together for some reason. Also the Strauss siblings are not together nor is Elfman with Evergreen. And no sign of Makarov on the board, at least to me.



So none of the main guilds are participating in the GMG huh? Saberthoot has a reason, they're no longer interested in showing their power to everyone like how Jienma wanted, and I guess Lamia Scale didn't feel the need to enter as their main rivals Saberthoot and FT woudn't be there either. Or Mashima just didn't want to introduce their changes early.



Natsu is the challenger? I sort of thought so when i saw the GMG happening, he looks damn cool but it seems he got even more OP, like Gildarts OP. Burning everything like that, maybe Mashima exagerated a bit. Let's see what how he does against the first pos timeskip boss.



All in all that was a great way to return, hope Mashima takes some time working around the disbanded guild issue instead of rushing the plot. "The flames's mensage", that sort of fit my the put the guild together theory. Anyway 5/5 can't wait for the next chapter.

This chapter basically said that Lucy did nothing while everyone else went off to train. Still useless in my book

Now this is what should have happen. I like Natsu's new looks better than his previous, and his new skills in controlling fire is surely innovative. I mean, who uses heat waves to melt your surroundings. If you use this during your fights, it will certainly be overpowering, kinda reminds me of Conquerer's Haki from One Piece, or Divine Power Monochrome from Feng Shen Ji.

It was a good chapter. Lucy getting upset and working to track the members down the past year was a feelsy moment. Natsu appearing was predictable, but nothing worth complaining about. I can't wait to see what happened to the others and how Fairy Tail will be reunited again.

Follow my motto and just ignore the trolls/haters. If they want attention,I hope they seek it elsewhere.



Well,I understand this is a timeskip and all,but we are going straight to this manga's end/last arcs,so I hope he won't waste much time with the usual post time-skip stuff.



For example: X chapters of protagonists meeting one another, Y chapters of them showing what they learned and trained,etc. One piece's fishmen island arc was more or less this,so I hope we go straight for the action. There is Zeref,that book and also Future Rogue's warning that Frosch would die/be killed in X792.



Mashima will probably reunite everyone first and then begin this new arc with the Frosch issue.
