Fairy Tail Chapter 1 Discussion

An excellent first chapter, and my first dip into manga as a whole. The artwork is brilliant and it was easy to understand everything that went on.



So many great moments in this chapter, Aquarius sweeping Lucy and the boat away, Natsu eating fire and of course Natsu revealing that he's a member of the Fairy Tail guild.



Definitely continuing reading this.

One piece with magic, huh? I've always made a point out of never comparing a manga with another manga, and I'm always too objective when reading new material. In other words, I started reading it with no expectations whatsoever.



Then, right off the bat, even before starting, I find out Natsu gets motion sickness on any kind of transportation, lol. I also liked the eyes of ppl to which that embarrasing drop of tear comes out. It's a nice switch. Well, off to chapter 2.

Drop it. Drop it while you can, it will only get worse later on.

i was actually surprised when i saw this isn't drawn by oda. and i actually dislike one piece, so it took me a lot of time [and my girlfriend recommending it to me] to pick it up.

and it was surprisingly entertaining. i have to admit i started reading it on chapter 105 and got interested there to get here, but the world building is catchy.

i sure hope it's not that much like one piece anyway.
