Fairy Tail Chapter 355 Discussion

What's this....it seems Mashima is trying too hard to show lots of fanservice these days, what is he trying make it into a H-manga, its a bit irritating now,no wonder FT is losing its fan-base(btw I m still a huge fan of FT) Erza's naked body was all showing through, well besides that it was a nice chapter and I guess we'll get to know more about this Tartaros guild and E.N.D



Better show something REALLY interesting next arc, I don't want FT to go down

I.. I can't even be mad at all the fan service, because we got to see Natsu and Gray naked too...

He run out of ideas from the moment he created the characters and world(or at least of any interesting ideas to the execution of the story). Having lots of fan-service just gives Fairy Tail  something interesting to show us. You'll always b disappointed expecting things that Fairy Tail can't give. Let's hope he will give us things that Fairy Tail can actually do great and that is comedy and fanservice. That's why this chapter is awesome.



I think the story was good up till the "Grand Magic Tournament" and the story pass that was fine, but not well followed through as before. The story during the "Grand Magic Tournament" felted really forced and just filled with "fanservice", which is just degenerating the plot. I mean, look at all that happened since they got the request from Walrod, it's just been nonsense and fanservice for a small part of the story line that could have been wrapped up in 1 chapter.



Not that I'm saying fanservice is bad, but there are limits to how often and how far it goes. This just seems to be getting worse as it goes on throughout the series, and to be frank, it's becoming... borderline hentai. The way I see it:

Macao Arc --> Tower of Heaven Arc = Fairy Tail's golden age

Tower of Heaven Arc --> Oracion Seis Arc = Good, but not as good as before

Edolas Arc onward = Fairy Tail is at a low

Although there has never been a period where I haven't liked Fairy Tail, I still love it.

You know, the way Gray and Natsu feel uneasy/scared when Erza talks about them in the bath together when they were kids makes me think What did she do to those two guys to make them that way? Hehe

Anyway, the FS is fine, I think people might be just a bit frustrated because the last arc was a mini one so when he did another FS chapter it appears to be coming on strong.



A lot of big things are coming soon. I think Hiro will tie in whatever the hell is locked up inside the basement of FT with whats going on now and we will get full circle of FT founders with Zeref and how they were connected.
