Also Ultear is most definitely sacrificing herself soon. The chapters reeks of it. Not to mention she instantly resolved all the grudges Milliana and Kagura had with Jellal. She's literally tying up loose ends on her way out.

Gray died and he was gonna confess to Juvia. Well on the bright side I can celebrate the long overdue death of Graylu and Gruvia's ascension to canon hood next to Jerza.



Overall epic chapter once more and I get the feeling Ultear is on her way out of the story for good.

it's like all the producers going to the authors "hey, we're not getting enough ratings. kill a character or something, no one's taking this seriously"

However i am also almost certain that Ultear will want to prove herself as a good person and pull some "i give my life, to give you life again"-time magic thing.



Thought of the same thing , ultear will probably sacrifise herself to bring back grey , the chapter was called "Sin and Sacrifice"

Meredy also did some first aid to heal Natsu after he lost to F. Rogue, so if Ultear doesn't immediately come over to give her life for him, I think someone'll at least try patching him up enough to let him get some last words out to have closure with Juvia and all if he's actually going to stay dead.



As it is now, there's no way he's dead without at least having some last words to make his death more impactful. So expect to see him still breathing at the beginning of the next chapter



He took a shot to the head. As in smack through the middle of the brain. He's dead. For now the tricky part is

we didn't not see him being shot

just shadow

and it wasn't beam

all shots were stight beams

the headshot was not

perhaps it was not direct hit



Yeah, that's more or less what I was getting at. Either Ultear's going to come over to heal him if he's 'dead', or he's going to be alive enough to get out some last words.



Just this - he's not going to die without saying something or some kind of nakama speech, so I expect to have some words from him next chapter one way or the other

If FT actually kills Gray and can pull off a really dramatic and emotional death, I will die of both sadness and happiness.
