Wait, so are you saying Wendy, Gajeel, Natsu and the others are from the past?



That would make sense, considering that way back in the Festival arc Natsu and Gajeel couldn't pass through the runes that prevented anyone over the age of 80 from leaving... But in that case, they would be from even FURTHER in the past, right?



Edit: And that means that the dragons didn't actually 'dissapear' 7 years ago, but rather what REALLY happened was that all the kids were thrown into the future where their dragons either no longer existed or were hiding away somewhere.

I think I get what you're saying, but that would be redundant AND still would suffer the problem of killing the Fairy Tail characters we have followed. It would be like Tsubasa Chronicle all over again- Switching the main characters on us with alternate versions of them, and I don't think Mashima is likely to go the CLAMP route.

Maybe Lucy will close ANOTHER door, different from the current dragon-spitting door, as what Rouge had said. Haha. Anyway, overall this is a nice chapter.

Only thing I didn't like was how Crux seems to have told her even though we don't see it, yet we were following Lucy all along, but oh well.

It would be a nice twist if Zeref showed up with Acnologia

Not likely. I think they will fail to close the door and it stays open allowing the rest of the dragons to come pouring through
