So all this time when Igneel and Grandeeney are shown talking to each other about the time will come is in the past? If this is so, then Edolas Grandeeney must be very old or Igneel and Grandeeney are actually hiding out in the future.

Only thing I didn't like was how Crux seems to have told her even though we don't see it, yet we were following Lucy all along, but oh well.

So was Natsu and other dragon slayers pushed into the future to prevent eclipse project? Dragon's didn't vanish 14 years ago - Dragon Slayers came from the past. That would explain how Zeref knew Natsu right?

I don't think so. This timeline is already past the no return point if not damn close to it. I think our Lucy will have to go back in time as well but now she is armed with the knowledge required to stop this whole disaster from occurring something her other future self did not have since she was stuck in the dungeon when it happened.





It's more for Natsu, Erza, and Laxus than anyone else. Those guys are OP.



But will our Lucy be able to travel back in time with her current experience? Does she have the means to?





That may be where that whole Lucy kneeling to Zeref sketch may come in. The previous future Lucy was too confused and desperate to be able to make a big difference. Though you could argue that she did make a big difference by ensuring her present self is in front of the gates to see them open and see the truth of what will come from there. Current Lucy is best suited to prevent this dark future.



I think that Zeref is going to give her the power in exchange for a Celestial Spirit that will further his plans.

Here's a thing I don't get...

So in the alternate timeline, Lucy closed the door, and the dragons came.

In this one, she fails to close it, and the dragons still come through.

I'm pretty sure future Rogue witnessed her closing the door in his time, since in the current timeline he was there without the influence of either his future self or F. Lucy. Therefore, there seems to be an inconsistency going on. Hopefully it'll be explained.



Perhaps their actions didn't matter. Perhaps Eclipse would open itself anyway and let the dragons in. Somehow the dragon slayers must have been sent to the future 14 years ago (finally explaining the over 80 year thingie yay). That means in the past they could control the gate, or someone in the future opened it for them.
