I'm guessing it's because every grand device in FT requires lots of magic energy, and that kind in large amounts is unstable so if you release it at the same time you get a massive energy burst that was stored too long

Maybe he is doubting what he was told since that person conveniently left out Lucy had gone back as well.

Finally got back to checking the forums, and I got tired reading or the comments especially about haters vs criticism. At least most of my questions have been answered.



@Darklight0303: I like your theory of three timelines a lot, it also goes along the lines of what I've been thinking. What I've been pondering didn't make a lot of sense to me but you cleared it up with your detailed explanation of time travel. Thank you for that.



Sad that Future Lucy died... it was inevitable but I got sad and angry at Rogue for killing her.



I do now still wonder if Mashima's original plans and ideas were better before his editors made him change it. >_>

So I didn't see anyone ask something that's been on my mind.  Where the heck can 10,000 dragons live sustainably and most likely unnoticed by humans?  I mean, Edolas doesn't have magic.  I guess there could be a third world that they rule over and maybe their population grew so they decided to take over another world...



The whole series I got the impression there weren't many dragons left that dissapeared at that same date.  Then again I was surprised two more dragon slayers appeared out of the blue (Sting and Rogue).  I mean, Sting and Rogue are probably as old as Wendy except she was frozen for seven years.  I found it odd that even Wendy as young as she was had learned from a dragon seven years before that.



So yeah, I guess I'm confused with the logistics of all these dragons, they're not making sense to me.

And always when i speak about FT, people say "well, do you have a great character like erza"



first of all, erza is all but a good character, in fact she is really really bad character, just for example



this latest Armor that she used against minerva, this is an Over Powered armor that should not be used without a secondary effect (at least)... it's really fucked up this armor, i'd rather see nakama power up instead of this bull shit created of nowhere, seriously if erza has this armor from the begginning of the manga, why didn't she used it against achnologia for example? or against jupiter (from phantom lord arc) she could have simply canceled the magic...



oh and the little FB we got from kagura, that's new, mashima never planned this and never forshadowed it, and it has some contradiction, because in the FB we can see kagura and erza at pretty much the same age, so with the 7 years time skip (which was BS by the way) kagura should have been looking more mature than erza....



Where have I heard all these so called arguments before? Oh yea you must be one of King of lighting's sheep. Your arguments are copy pasted word for word from that guy, since he's the mighty anime shepherd.  Or so he likes to think



^^^^ Erza's armor against Minerva it had to be hat way , she wasn't strong enough( she didn't have her second origin, like with Lucy,Juvia and Gray) they showed there's . Erza showed hers thanks to her second origin.

And concerning your second point, I disagree. His first post may have been a little sharp-tongued but still within the site's regulations. He simply wrote down his thoughts after an arguably mediocre chapter. YOU, on the other hand, insulted him first and acted like a typical fanboy. His second post then was a little rough but given your answer it's perfectly understandable that he'd react that way. If you love FT as much as you seem to do, defend it with good arguments rather than childish insults.

That proves how simple this manga is, simply create



-"Handsome" looking male character (for women)

-Women with big tits (for men)

-Random ass fights, it does not matter how they win, but the more important in  the fight is the end when natsu or someone else from FT says "I won't let you touch my nakama Don't touch my babe ..." (for men and women)

-Relationship between male and female characters just like shojo (destined for women)

so they will say "ohhh look how cute they are" nyyyya i wanted him to kiss herrrrrrr ohhhh(for women and some effeminate man)

This simply can explain why this manga is on top 10 seller manga ; fan service. Done.



I said I was moved but I didn't cry,LOL,  and not only girls are moved by these kind of scenes, because males are also human beings, they just dont let his tears fall. LOL



This manga is as popular to men as it is for women (other example is Gintama), and Iam very happy for it, I do not understand why girls always had to read only shoujo and guys only shonen. Surely it all started like that, but hey, the world is changing and equality is bigger now, to the point where I can proudly say that I have many male friends watching/reading shojo and josei, and some of them even watched shonen-ai, and didnt complain, and girls watch ecchi, yuri and seinen and some even watch hentai.

Look at the shoujo Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun, Kimi ni Todoke, Clannad After story: Ive seen many males and females discussing about it regarding the romantic relationships.



You´re right, women usually dont like ecchi but we dont complain much since in the latest years the world of anime and manga realized that it was necessary to put more shirtless guys there, so I guess we´re finally heading to equality.  Bless you god!



Now to the right parts:

Handsome boys = you´re right. They help a lot when a girl has to choose a shonen. Still, Romance wins XD (Gajeel is not handsome but we ship him with Levy...or with Natsu XP);



Women with big tits =you´re right again, but I rather see guys drooling over big tits than objectifying loli children. That is my personal opinion only but everyone has the right to like whatever they want, this world grants us with freedom of speech and opinions and I support it.



Random ass fights =you´re right. It reminds me when all begin, with SailorMoon and DragonBall. Since those two, every shonen and shojo has "Ill protect my nakama", "Ill be exposed to danger 243242343 times and dont die and if I die, Ill come back somehow", "Ill have 324344 power upgrades and kill villains who just want to be loved".



- Romance =You´re right, but Ive also seen many males who cheer for Gruvia, Jerza and Nalu as much as girls, so it means, most of males dont have anything against it. Liking a romantic scene does not make a man "effeminate" like you mentioned. It makes him an AWESOME person, just the type that girls like to have a conversation with. If you dont like romance scenes, that means you´ll never be romantic to the girl you love and that, allow me to say, it SUCKS. Girls dont want flowers and candies and tears and sunsets, but surely we appreciate some romance. ;D



Fairytail has many problems and Ive stated many in my previous comments (no one dies and if they die they come back; only ugly villains die, the handsome are redeemed; random enemies; too much nakama power coming from no where (overpowered), etc). But I dont think that those you mentioned are the worst, and still, I believe there are worst things to read out there in manga world. IMO Surely Mashima can do better, but he is not doing a terrible manga either, I still find it enjoyable. Mashima is not a "dishonor" to the genre, nowadays shonen is inserting more shojo elements to make girls join the fandom and I like that. Pandora Hearts and Magi are two of the most popular shonen manga out there and they are both made by women XD



I don't think you can count Pandora Hearts as a Shounen given the constant heartbreaking horror we have every month >~>;;;;;;;;;; XDDD
