I'll state the obvious ... " lava range " and " gravity range " ... That fishhead guy could pretty much have turned the floor into lava and plunged all of them right into it by changing the gravity field's intensity.
PS: Arcadios took some lessons with Akainu from One Piece ... clearly >.>
Maybe he can't combine them at the same time. Or it was a typical case of the bad guy being overconfident and wanting to play with the prey.

lol this manga just took another nosedive.
Why didn't Arcadios just go around and pull them up instead of jumping in lava.
That was literaly one of the most idiotic moves i have ever seen. its even physically impossible.
And he still didn't die trololo
Plus lucy being astonishing useless as usual , the spirits do everything on their own.
she doesnt even have the strenght to pull herself up? she depends on a severely injured man to rescue her.
Oh yea cause Yukino did so much? Take your bias and shove it.

simon is the only good guy to die so far, correct?
A few other ones died actually. Uncle Rob died....and I guess Ur/Ul technically counts as someone dead. There a more dead characters when it comes to either the bad guys or not so detailed characters that were only mentioned to have died. But yeah, it would be if interesting if Mashima brought back the blood lust from Rave Master into Fairy Tail.

was a 5/5 until the clock saved the knight guy. that was such a crap way to ruin someone's heroic sacrifice. really wish mashima wld bring back his no mercy thing he had going in Rave Master where people actually died.

Well not a lot of anime is promoting in death anymore. Like the newer ones.
One piece hasnt had a single death cept Ace in almsot 600 episodes.
This is because if a character is dead no is no way to ever discuss or relate if needed to unless its flashback.
Since the Eclipse hasnt been talked about deeply we cant go killing the guy that knows the most about it.

No I am not. If he's going to hate on a character for being useless in the chapter then he should hate ALL of the similarly useless characters. He focused on Lucy therefore I called him out on his bullshit bias.
I was talking about the bias part. Really, you are no better than he is if you are going to insult everybody who doesn't like Fairy Tail.
I have bias towards those who try to poorly justify their hatred for the series. Come up with some logical objective arguments and don't do it sounding like a dick and we'll get along fine. You think I see Fairy Tail as Flawless? Don't make me laugh. There are plenty of flaws and I know them well.
