Fairy Tail Chapter 308 Discussion

                        Disappointed to say the least.



The actual plot of FT will be dragged on as the next few chapters will involve some meaningless fighting when the end result is obvious.

To me that was repetition. Yet another obvious anti-fire magic (among the many beyond zancrow), not to mention the line about god of flame was a repetition by itself.



If Hiro is already running out of ideas for powers then I fear what the powers of the enemies will be at the grand finale.



Though most of the wolves are a rerun of generic characters I'm still interested in their boss. Hopefully his powers will be something grand.



Obvious NaLu more and more, which gives all the more ground for Fai's FF interpretation,


a sad and full of romance disappearance of Lucy

Did Natsu accidentally grab Lucy's boobs?



Natsu laughing at the enemies was pretty funny and of course Lucy and Yukino are underestimating Uosuke, wonder what the princess' real intention is.

It's not that I rushed to judge the whole arc just cuz of this chapter. It's just that the split-up is easily interpreted as a means for the party to get some quick 1on1. I wasn't expecting something like this the previous week. I thought it was  merely an introduction of the "hunter" and that this new group would be handled a little more properly.



My thoughts on the new group in total:

-A great and reasonable addition to the situation. If they weren't there it would be a misstep since a kingdom is bound to have some sort of security in a prison.



-My disconent is how they are handled. The line that this chapter sets for them is that at least half of them will be rendered useless within the next 3 chapters, therefore making their addition overall worthless. Such a group should be handled in a different manner other than this (imo).



-And also such characters, with this much context, could give far more meaning to a battle. The reason I'm sort of biased is cuz I had such expectations from FT's villains in the past and almost all of them ended up shattered.

Where's all the people who were bitching about Mira's previous "fight"? They are getting what they wanted now. She kicked ass in Sitri and will more in a 1-on-1.



Wendy is really not useless anymore. That roar was amazing and so was the anti-paralysing spell.



LOL @ Lucy,Yukino vs Freak. Bones won't be left? That's nothing. Lucy's endurance is extremely high, she'll win now with 2nd Origin..... Okay, not sure about that.

This was a really boring episode... Hope next will be more interesting.

Well,I liked it.I always thought it would be too easy just entering the castle like that.And it's only natural we get some sort of villains from the Kingdom itself,when they're clearly the real evil(or at least involved with) behind this arc(more important than Sabertooth or anything in the tournament).



Seeing Mira,Natsu,Wendy and Lily fighting will be nice.The weak team should be nice too(makes me think of Rave...)
