^ Yeah I assume that the Time-Skip did Jura good. That's the only thing that really makes sense to me. It's true that not everything someone says is true, but Erza has proved time and time again that she's at least close to WS level. I'm not an Erza fan boy btw, I'm just trying to make sense of the power consistencies or lack thereof.
Erza is high-leveled S-class mage. Therefore a pro among pros, same goes for the rest of FT's S-class. I think at this point, knowing that pre-SO Natsu was a candidate for S-class and since battle prowess is his most redeeming future, we can assume that Natsu/Gray/Juvia/Gazeel are your "average" example of S-class mage (maybe?).
To me there is a clear distinction between S-class and 10 SW. I mean S-class basically exist all over fiore if you think about it, while the SW are only 10. So 10SW>All S-class except Gildarts. I think the only reason that the S-class is underrated is cuz of examples from other guilds(e.g. Bacchus, Ichiya, Lyon etc) that don't get as much attention from Hiro , but that only happens so as to progress the story faster (I think). I mentioned Gildarts back then. I honestly dunno what to make of him. I mean we know he is badass ok, but something was mentioned for him that we have never heard for any other mage. He takes missions beyond S-class (SS, 10 year) and he is the only one to have taken on a 100 year quest!! I mean..was that limited only for FT members(like the only one in this generation of FT?) or was that including even more mages from all over Fiore. Anyway,.. as things stand now I can only think that Jellal/Jura>Gildarts by a small difference(at least smaller than that between Laxus and Jura)
