Well,Mashima kept saying on the volume notes that he wanted to explain each character's back-story,and so he has been doing that before the GMG arc,where each arc had some character back-story shown.Then after we got some development on a bunch of characters we're getting more on the plot itself.But the plot has already been foreshadowed a long time ago on several times(normally between the arcs).



The reason we had Acnologia attack FT back then was to show how much the mains will have to evolve to be able to beat one of the main villains(if not the main villain) of the series.That kind of stuff.

The thing is that Zeref and Lucy never met eachother on Tenrou Island. We can't be sure until he sees her.



I repeat myself: I know that Lucy has an important role. I gave emphasis on the fact (at least for now) Zeref isn't looking for Lucy and doesn't have any particular demands from her. For all we know Zeref

(OR acnologia, since with this chapter he entered the speculation game)  

MIGHT have certain plans concerning "the stellar mage with the 12 keys" OR plans that concern "Layla's offspring". We haven't been given any reason to suspect that Zeref is desperately after Lucy OR that he is aware of her existance and what role that entails. His eyes are set on Natsu (for now)

This war took place 400 years ago. The first Dragon Slayers were taught Slayer magic 400 years ago to combat the dragons who ate humans. So, after the war ended, there was no need to continue teachig humans Slayer magic, so obviously it must have stopped after that.



The First Generation (Wendy, Natsu, Gajeel) took part in that war. The First Generation is now confirmed to be over 400 years old. After all, why else would the dragons randomly teach them Slayer magic?



IT MAKES SENSE!



This is more or less what I said a couple pages ago. But I theorized that it was possible the slayers were sent into the future, or put into hibernation, explaining why the dragons just "disappeared". BUT, that's just a theory. And probably wrong. But if it's right, I said it first. I think. haha

Not necessarily. Since the cloacked chara is from the future and we know that Wendy will grow taller (based on Edolas Wendy), wouldn't rule it out yet.



I doubt that person is from several years in the future though. For one if this person lost the use of their arm several ears back they would be used to using the left one to write by this point so no hand shaking or horrible writing. So no I don't believe this person is from a distant future and that rules out Wendy in my book.

Ah but thats the problem a specific date was not set for the future possibilities of being Lucy of the future ruling out that its the taller version of Wendy Edolas version

Can't really say anything that hasn't been said before about this chapter, such is the curse of getting to my computer too late. Ah well, good chapter, great plot twist, can't wait to see what happens next. Looks like the main guys will be talking to Yukino next chapter. Also, kinda nostalgic to hear Gray talk about Deliora again.

I think if Natsu existed back then and Nirvana was used on him the Nirvit chief would have recognised him.



We know that Natsu is older way older than he appears and Zeref, who was not seen since those times knows him.



Nirvana might have been used but not on Natsu too.



But we don't know why he's older when 14(7) years ago he was still a child.....it's kind of odd.The war was 400 years ago,but Igneel and the others were still training dragon slayers.Natsu and the others don't have parents too...what does this all mean?Were Natsu and the others frozen in time,like what happened at Tenrou Island?

Zeref and Acnologia had opposite goals. Zeref wanted to secretly kill all the Dragons, Acnologia, "the strongest DS" wanted to live on peace with them.



Zeref, in anger, started the rebellion against the Dragons on their side. The Nirvit tribe, in an attempt to stop him, used Nirvana. All Zerefs darkness was absorbed but then fell upon them and unfortunately on Acnologia as well.

Thus, the strongest DS, become the Dragons' worst enemy. He then viciously killed Humans and Dragons alike.



Zerefs initially betrayal led him to be known as the most evil mage in history.
