This ark seems to present to us some pretty weird powers/abilities and such, they are interesting but kind of disappointing for a magic world...
An Owl with Jet Packs? A Rocker with Mind control... i just cant see those in a magic world... we could have had some more "normal" ones if you know what i mean!
To summarize, i was expecting something better for this ark, kind of disappointed at the moment...

as for predictions, my guess is that for Natsu's fight, he'll conjure up an uber version of the rockets that Fukurou is currently using. same old Natsu, he'll over power the Owl.
on Lucy vs. Dark Lluvia's (you guys are right, she is hot), I can't think of any ATM except that this time around, Lucy would use multiple Stellar Spirits simultaneously. maybe she'll have some difficulty at first even controlling two but Lucy will improve as this battle goes on. Lucy summoning Leo might prove to be hilarious though since he might hit on Lluvia. lol

I kind of like this "weird" abilities that the Trinity (well 2 of them) have demonstrated. certainly much more interesting than an elemental vs. elemental battle. I like that it didn't go in that obvious direction. it certainly isn't as good as the Nen system in Hunter X Hunter but for going against convention, I applaud Mashima.
BTW, I found the cover of Fairy Tail volume 10. the red theme makes Erza look even hawter.

I'm glad the translators changed Jubia to Lluvia, it has a more elegant ring to it.
And i'm sure the author didnt mean for it to be an 'english' name, but rather the spanish name Lluvia.
Yeah, that caught me off-guard and I was like, who the hell is that? But then it made sense once I said the name out loud, saw what it sounded like, and the confirmed it with the later pages. Although now I'll be interested to see what the official Del Rey translations in the volumes they release here in the US is going to be.
