I also think they got beat up way too easily. Erza was also completely passive (even before everyone got caught) which I thought somewhat strange considering her batter prowess. I'm interested to see what kind of past she has to make her freeze ike that.

I'm intrigued by the Tower of Paradise. from what we've seen, Erza was enslaved during the tower's construction.
