Yesssss~!!! (I've been doing a happy dance for the past half hour now)
After 203, I repeat, 203 chapters we finally have Kyouko's complete acceptance of her feelings. This chapter has regained all former splendor in plot that has been slugging along for the past while. In fact, Kyouko's growth in this chapter is even more significant due to the relief that it finally brings to the reader that was holding their breath for the last two (plus) chapters.
Well done, mangaka-san! Well done.
And finally, Kyouko can now get reasonably embarrassed around Ren without going into a circular pattern of self denial. Finally, Kyouko can tell Sho to F-off and that his involvement in her life pales in comparison to someone else's importance (haha, take that Sho. And take your twisted monopolative wishes with you). Honestly - I actually want Sho to get a little more panel-time, except I'm afraid that his presence won't have a tasteful effect. But better to ease him back into the story before Ren and Kyouko's love flourishes and Sho's inclusion becomes irrelevant.
And FINALLY, Kyouko can move on with her career... Yay! Thank you, President Lory, for remembering that over your passion for love.
I hope she gets a manager, now that her feelings have graduated from Love-Me's purpose. And I hope the character becomes crucial and lovable like how Yashiro is to Skip Beat! And a new acting role as "Mogami" would be great - this one with more talent required than before. The show business aspect and Kyouko's original talent is what draws me in, so I hope her new role is more intriguing than the rest of her characters already.
It would be great having a reappearance with some of the supporting characters from before too (I miss them dearly). Ahhhh, too much to anticipate now that the arc is done-ish! Too many things to want from the manga ~
Sincerely,
A greedy fangirl
