This was clearly a transitional chapter...hence the name. The turning point.

This manga is really slow, and when you think about it chapter wise, yeah, no kiss. But they have literally been in the same month for the past year ^^ read the manga again start to finish, and you will truly realize that it goes by in a flash. Last feb she did the vday stuff, and this is what, weeks after?

197 chapters... and STILL no kiss between the main girl and guy T.T

But still... small gestures like hold hands make me happy a little T ///// T

Finally another Chapter! I was happy with it, I definitely like the fan-service in this chapter. I do like this arc a lot, but I'm not gonna lie, I wish the relationship between Ren and Kyoko would develop a bit faster, BUT I like the little details here and there especially in this arc when they're so close together.

I have to say Skip Beat! is one of my favorite series so even if it takes a life time, i'm still gonna read it. Just can't get enough of Ren and Kyoko :)

I actually like how the story is progressing and I have no issues at all with the pace of it.

Those who are strictly reading the online scans, of course are going to feel like the romance between Ren and Kyoko is taking to long to develop because the magazine Skip Beat is published in only comes out 1 or 2 times a month. Of course it is going to feel like this is getting dragged out. I buy the volumes as well as reading the scans, and if you read the volumes cover-to-cover the time in which all this is happening goes by pretty fast.

I appreciate all the in-between events and small things that happens between major story events. It makes things interesting and gives us more insight to what is happening with the characters.

I love this series and I hope that Nakamura-san continues with her vision of this series over giving in to the pressure to speed things up. The more attention to detail she gives to Skip Beat, the longer the series will last (in no rush to see this series come to an end). There's a lot that she can still do with the series (Kyoko finally admitting she loves Ren, the two of them finally confessing it to each other, the start of the relationship, how it grows, Ren revealing he's Corn and that Kuu is his father, Ren/Kuon returning to the U.S. and if Kyoko goes with him).

I liked this chapter too.   I thought that Kyoko looked really cute in her wolf hat and the pics of the steamy Ren were nice.    I liked when she was making herself turn back into Setsu cause she wanted to run away and not look at him.   Not a lot of development but still a good transition.

LOL   At first when I saw that gangster guy, I was thinking it was real - like I was like wait did Kyouko leave to get food???   and now she's going to get mugged?  but then when I saw the cliff it was obvious that it was just  in the theatre of Kyouko's mind.

This chapter had some cute points like the window shopping as well as some more serious parts like the scenes where kyoko feels as if she is being backed off the edge of a cliff. Obviously, she is starting to worry about where her relationship with ren is going though not in a bad way (it appears as if the locks on her heart may be loosening). Also the scene of ren in the bathroom looking at the mark left of his neck shows that he too is thinking about where their relationship is going. I was a little disappointed with the ending, but overall the chapter was pretty good. I just hate that the chapters are so short and only come out every month/month and a half :(

Im srsly in love with this arc. Its been such an important development for tsurugaxkyoko's relationship. This chapter hadnt the same impact as the last one, but still kyoko is noticing shes falling in love with Tsuruga. I only wonder if she will use her character as an excuse to say shes not in love with tsuruga. I wish shed just realize she doesnt necessarily devote her life for someone, she can have her life doing stuff the will make herself happy while being in love with someone.

And seems like Tsuruga is starting to take control of himself, since he stayed calm while the other actor was picking on him.
