"Morino probably never noticed that he was the serial killer."
Is she an idiot? She got held captive wearing the clothes of a murder victim in a restaurant where she found the killers notebook. SHE LOOKS DIRECTLY AT HIM AS HE SERIAL KILLER MONOLOGUES ABOUT REPENTANCE at her page 71/72. And a morbid true crime hobbyist doesn't make the connection?
What a retarded thing to end the chapter on.
Well apparently this is a world where you just stumble upon murderers all the time and the MC can immediately sniff them out by random hunch.
Everything in this manga conveniently runs on pure author fiat.
Also conceptually/structurally I question that if Kamiyama is already established to fantasize about Morino getting murdered in chapter one (as he tries to prompt Mr Hands with the hand theft), why isn't HE the one making her wear the dead girls clothes? That would be much stronger in theme.
He probably doesn't to preserve his ability to convincingly save her, but the author already corners himself a little bit here.
