All right, since I'm a hardcore Zero and Yuuki supporter, <3 <3 <3 I'd say that this chapter FINALLY lived up to my expectations, though... I was a bit disappointed that Yuuki just said understatements to Kaname, and didn't really seem to say what she should have said entirely. She's STILL an airhead. But THANKFULLY oh so thankfully, she realized that he's evil! YAY!!! And that Zero's innocent and that he's been suffering because of Kaname! Go Yuuki, you've finally used your brain cells-- as tiny as they are-- and figured something out! ...Unlike I thought what might happen... i thought that Hino-sensei might have pushed everyone's buttons by making Yuuki completely oblivious, and make her go back to Kaname's side and have her say something stupid like "I'll be your devoted bride if you stop this madness," but thank god that didn't happen! Hino-sensei has finally let everyone know that Kaname's truly evil, not to mention that Ruka is now going to die because of him, which is really sad and I'm so glad Kain was there, and that he confronted Kaname, the bastard -_- This means, that Kaname now has only one follower-- Aidou, and even he's wavering!
Anyway, back to the point, I was very glad to see Yuuki cut off her hair-- a sign of the return to who she used to be, even though she's still a vampire, but she yearns to return to her original self, and the long hair seemed to signify that Kaname had his "chains" around her, and that she was being manipulated by him to be exactly what he wanted her to be. She had no free will, and was unfailingly oblivious to Kaname's true, wretched nature. And when she takes out Artemis, and stands in front of Zero, who looks at her with the love he's always had for her-- now returned completely-- and then she has an internal monologue to him over the next few pages, while she's facing Kaname, which to sum up states that she will never leave Zero's side again, and that even though they will face the darkness together, they will be there to hold each other and lead each other back in to the light.
But as usual, Hino-sensei has left it on an aggravating cliff-hanger!
BUT HAZAAAH!!!! She's finally made things turn in the best favorable direction!!!! YAAAAAY!!!!!

1. WHY did Kaname wanna use Zero as a weapon? I get twin hunters = powerful, but we already knew this from the Rido arc so why was it brought up again unless Kaname wanted to (unsuccessfully?) use Zero for another purpose beyond killing Rido?
2. I'm assuming Kaname is *not* THE big bad guy. He wants to kill all pure bloods, but who doesn't? I'm assuming by ALL pure bloods dead he's including himself so wants Yuki to kill him since *obviously* Zero cant, and probably no one else can, either.
3. What's this ultimate sin talk that was going on a few chapters back? Kaname committed the ultimate sin by forcing a human to turn vampire, was it said who this was?? (I totally could've missed it, those chapters didn't make any sense to me). It could've been Zero, but we already know who actually physically bit Zero so to change it would be a force. My guess is it's Yuki, but this is going to bring in a whole new set of questions that need answering. Yuki said she thinks a lot of this has something to do with her, so it makes sense, but idk where its gonna go.
4. Who is this mysterious hooded lady that Kaname is doing all this for? If he's doing this for her at all..
My theories mostly revolve around Yuki's background story being untrue/only partly true, the possibility of her being a reincarnation of someone, the source/victim of Kaname's "sin" that he's all guilty about, Kaname intending to use Yuki as a pawn like Zero, but screwing up and falling in love with her... things of that nature. I'm also convinced Zero has already put a lot of things together, hence his urgent need to kill Kaname.
If it ends with some showdown and no explanation of what's been going on Im gonna be so pissed. & if its something really sappy Im gonna be even more livid.

It's... finally happening. I sat through all of that disgusting romance between Yuuki and Kaname, but now it seems it'll have been worth it. If Zero ends up with her and finally becomes happy... oh god... I had pretty much lost all hope, but now... ;-; Here's hoping Yuuki doesn't regress back to what she has been for the last 30+ chapters. Come on Zeki ending!
I've been on the same boat-- I couldn't believe yuuki could be that stupid, and it just kept getting worse, all the while she left poor Zero (the hero ;) ) suffering in the darkness!!! It made me so mad that she couldn't realize that Kaname was evil, and yeah 'disgusting romance' is right on! it was atrocious :P
I'm really, REALLY hoping that this is the final turning point towards the Zero and Yuuki being together outcome, and the last turn away from Kaname! YAY!!! Oh and I really hope that bastard gets what he deserves..... bwahahahaaaa >:D
