This shit is getting intense

At this point I think Thorfinn fighting is inevitable

A great chapter for sur, if only it was longer. The build up of the conflict has been incredible, the dialogues are very well done and we have multiple points of view from several characters.



Great to see hild interacting after she forgave thorfin, her interaction felt very natural.



The rats are going to make some damage for sur, now we have plenty of threats that could shatter this settlement and the whole exepriment of thorfin to pieces, i can't wait to see what yukimura is preparing for this 1000 year voyage part.

Just caught up with the manga after watching anime a year ago, i regret not reading earlier but when will the next chapter come?? Is there any fix date or something when new chapters are released?

Such a short chapter. But tense for sure. The unrest is brewing bigger and bigger.



Hild looks so good in this chapter. She kinda looks more like a Thorfinn's sister than Ylva, tbh.

A very short chapter but things sure are getting tensed

Solid chapter overall, though I wish we got more pages, 16 pages for 1 month…



I definitely want to talk about Hild, specifically her with her Hair down, I love the look



I forgot the helmet dude name but I liked what he said at the end, “an agreeable leader is a problem”. I like the sentiment behind it. I also liked when he said they should learn how to make it instead of sharing it, vice versa for each side.



The chapter was really tense and I like the buildup. Both sides make good points. Thorfinn, Hild, Helmet dude..I don’t think there’s any ppl wrong here, and that’s what I like about it

And just when Thorfinn thinks three won't be anymore conflict, Ivar and his group give their unwelcomed presence. Do something about that helmet guy first, otherwise not so long before he becomes a prominent voice among the majority.



Also Hild with her hair down looking so good for a change.

The goddamn political debate omg. This shit's gonna get tense



It's going to be so nerve-wracking moving forward, because in essence, both sides are right, and both sides are wrong. If Thorfinn and Hild "win" the debate, then they'll be "proven wrong" when the mystic chief attacks after he finds supporters to drive them out and they'll be defenseless most likely. If the other two "win" the debate, then war is on the horizon as Hild claims.



Even more nerve-wracking is that this debate isn't going to end and as more of things happen, the perspectives are going to further divide. Tensions are going to increase, and more independent action like this is going to ignite more tension.

The rats eating the food are going to be the tipping point that will make Thorfinn lose control.
