Vinland Saga Chapter 191 Discussion

This chapter gave me the best cry I've had in a long time. I was balling hard, my eyes and nose were leaking like crazy, and I was crying with my whole voice, which is quite rare for me. Took me a long time to regain my bearings afterward. The manga was already a 10/10 since before. This chapter really reaffirmed that.

It's because i follow this manga for long time i feel their characters personally, that moment really made me cry, it was so powerful..

I have teared up reading the series so far, but this was the first time where full-on tears poured out. It is very difficult for me to express emotions like sadness due to past trauma, but it just shows how well Yukimura writes characters and their stories. I love every character in this story and feel attached to them all. What a beautiful moment to finally see Hild forgive Thorfinn. Not only that but just the culmination of Thorfinn's journey and struggles as well as Einars. Everyone involved has been through so much but they finally made it.



A lot of others are predicting something bad/ominous happening next and I really hope that's not true. (I'm aware there are more chapters out right now but I just finished reading all of my physical English volumes and this is where the latest one ends). 

Hild finally forgave Thorfinn...



Definitely one of the best character developments I've ever seen.

I had a feeling this was coming soon!



Now the inevitable conflict with the native tribe...

This chapter actually made me tear up.



I almost wish the series ended here, because trouble is brewing for sure.
