As for the chapter itself, it was sort of funny seeing Gudrid being a bit insecure about her own skills compared to Hild's who is pretty talented. But picturing Hild and Thorfinn having a spark seems too wrong xD As expected, not everyone would agree with the "no weapon" policy. I'm interested in seeing how Thorfinn is going to deal with this issue. Hopefully, it won't escalate.no swords policy.

Gudrid is jealous of Hild but I'm jealous of Gudrid

I wonder if Yukimura is going to give Hold any significant screen time and development, or if her growth/ change is just a miniarc.

Nothing much happening. Still building up but I really like this chapter. A beautiful evolution of what the series use to be. Instead of the death and destruction, we get Gudrid being jealous and worried of Hild. It’s nice. Though, I can already see people saying its a waste of a chapter.

Finally caught up with the manga, really nice I prefer Thorfinn as he is rn

Will Hild really be able to change her perspective for good? I mean she really did well in adjusting so far, but don't think that she will forgive Thorfinn just yet, if at all, it will happen later down the line. But I'm looking forward to see how this cliffhanger scenario will play out.

Hild has been long overdue for some development and I like where things are going with her. I don't expect her to 100% forgive Thorfinn, but at least a new understanding since The Hunter and the Hunted. At the very least, there is now more to her than her personal vendetta.



Speaking of Thorfinn, I wonder how he's going to deal with these clowns.

Imagine waiting so many months for a chapter just to get 15 pages about Gudrid's insecurities. How the mighty have fallen.

Decent chapter. Last few have sort of felt boring ngl, but more Hild is always welcome. I appreciate how she’s still with Thorfinn after all this time as a constant reminder of his past. The personification of everything he’s done. I do hope she actually gets some development starting next chapter.
