That was hell of a character development it was for both Halfdan and his son Sigurd

I thought that the arc ended too quickly. Would have been better if we had gotten to see more of both the duel and the history of Iceland. Otherwise this was a great arc.  you're the first person I've heard say this arc ended quickly. It's the longest arc in the series if I'm not mistaken.

Satisfying end of the chapter, and an enjoyable exchange of words. Iceland definitely isn't fit to wage war or raid down on the continent.

                        ----------------------------------------

That was one hell of a duel between father and son. Interesting how Halfdan wants Sigurd to become a first king of Iceland. But in the end Siggy managed to convince his father. Halfdan won't admit it but he seems to be proud of him.

And finally, next month we are starting a new arc. Almost certainly our crew made it to Rus by now. Looking forward to seeing how will Yukimura explore the lands of the Slavs. Unless something unexpected happened and our crew had to make a detour but I really doubt it.

Great analysis of the viking The raids merely created another set of poor people They did not actually help the Viking homelands

I liked the confrontation between Sigur and his Tsun dad. I wonder if he’s going to Thorfinn’s party.

I hope Canute is in the next arc. I miss that boy!

Sigurd has become a real man and Halfdan's smile was so precious. Great character development and great chapter(s).

Loved the conclusion of this arc. Sigurd has become one of my favourite characters in the series. I really liked how Halfdan despite being disappointed that his son refused to become a king, he's still really proud of how much his son has grown. Hopefully, next month we will finally learn what happened after Gudrid's confession.

Great chapter as usual.

This chapter reminded us of the historical fact that one of the main reasons why the Vikings raided other lands is because of the scarcity of natural resources in their homeland.

Liked Siggy and his father's conversation.

Halfdan was happy at the end.

Now a new arc begins, now I think we are going back to Thorfinn and co.
