As someone who's been somewhat disappointed by the lack of good fights since he became a slave, there's nothing I would like more, but... do you think it will really be a lot of fighting now that Thorfinn is kind of a "love and peace" guy ?Definitely. Right now he's anti-fighting and wants to solve everything by talking. On his journey to Vinland he's going to understand that fighting is necessary in order to survive; this chapter hinted at him realising that through his dialogue w/Einar. So I'm certain he'll have a couple more hectic fights by the end of the series.

Thorkell suffering from battle withdrawals represent the readers that miss the prologue.
