Master ;__;

It's so sad that she must witnessed her master killed in front of her eyes.

The master was kind, little acts of kindness like giving her the bear pelt so she could buy stuff to do what she wants really makes me tear up like how Sverkel helped out in the slave arc. I guess as long as you have anger in your heart  all you will see and listen will be because of that anger

I do like Hild's character, but honestly it's beginning to feel a bit dragged out. Hopefully the arc doesn't resolve by Thorfinn just killing her or something, because I'd like to see what she can offer the group.

Damn, i was expecting her Master to die...but not like after two pages just right before announcing his death flag.

I'm afraid there isn't much hope for Thorfinn to settle their fight through talking after reading this chapter. Her father's and master's words failed to reach her after their deaths and she has fostered hatred towards the things that killed the people she loved. This chapter just cemented that Hild isn't just motivated by hatred, she's driven by it. Much like how Thorfinn used to be I don't think Hild is ever gonna forgive or even let go of Thorfinn so I'm afraid this might get ugly when we get back to the present day.

I have been saying this and for some strange reason there's people out there that ship these two...it's never going to work out lol

This was a really good chapter showing the training Hild went through to become a refined hunter, not as harsh as being in a battlefield that was Thorfinn's case.

Died? Pfft, tis but just a flesh wound. He'll be alive and well in the next chapter.

I love this little arc. Reminds of those long flashbacks in Sergio Leone movies just before the duelists shot at each other.I never thought of that, but now that you mention it, Once Upon a Time in the West does come to mind.
