I glad I took 1 year break of manga because these last 10 chapters have been great.

Thorgil is a beast!! He almost assassinated Canute and lives to tell the tale.

Unfortunately, the manga-ka took a break during April (good for him, though), and we'll have to wait until the end of this month for an update.

Definitely the best chapter we have had for a while, it was much longer than usual and we got to see some cool action. I'm glad to see Canute respecting Thorgil and even desiring him to join his army. If we are lucky Thorgil might even survive this whole ordeal.

                        We got a long chapter this time, featuring Ketil's fall, Thorgil's plan and nearing the conclusion Arneis fight against death.

A very interesting chapter that showed considerable amount of plot progression, I really enjoyed it.

Thorgil failed to kill the King!! :/

Another great chapter. What will Thorfinn do?

I think the hands cutting is all about "disarming" your opponent first, so they are left defenseless, allowing you no harm. Though, this battle is totally one sided, i'm not sure why they needed to resort to cutting hands so I agree with you that it's being overdone.



I honestly thought Thorgil was going to die, so I was very happy he survived, I wonder what role he will play in the future. He might play a role in bringing thorfinn and canute together...



I can't wait to see what Thorfinn gets out of her death.



Great chapter overall, I hope we get to see long chapters like this again (although it felt very short).

It looks like that those who were clamoring for blood and violence have got their wish in this chapter. Not that many of them have stuck around, judging by the post count of the recent chapters compared to the earlier ones.



Glad to see that Thorgil had survived. He's becoming my favorite character in this arc beside Thorfinn and Snake, and the eye popping scene was brutal. Makes me wonder if the real life Ulf was one-eyed. I also forgot to mention in the previous chapter how goofy Canute's mask looked.



I wonder if Ketil is dead. I have a hunch that Snake might've saved him in the last minute. And I wonder how Thorfinn is going to handle Arneis's dearh. My speculation this time is that an enraged Einar might rush back to the farm to confront Ketil with Thorfinn chasing after him, and that might be how Thorfinn and Canute will reunite.

Damn Canute got good, i really wanted to see Thorgill cut him in half tho

This chapter was insane. I admit that it's nice to have bloody battle once in a while. I dunno whether they got Kekil for good or not, but his "army" was trashed.



Thorgil was a true savage, tho.



And please, I hope Thorfinn can find the right words.
