Vinland Saga Chapter 85 Discussion

It feels like this manga is slowly getting back on track. Farmland Saga aside, it really seemed uninspired for a while, so I'm really glad to see a change in attitude from the author. I'm not only talking about the (hopefully) upcoming fight, but the overall feel of the manga is much more like what it just to be now. If it got pale for a while, the colors are coming back ;P Or something like that. Really looking forward to the next chapter ^^

finally idd!!! but snake is a monster he already guessed Thorfinn's fghting style.

YES!!! Thorfinn finally chose to fight. I knew they would face-off eventually. I can't wait for the next chapter!



Now the real question is whether Thorfinn still has it in him or did he get rusty after all that farming.

Thorfinn's resolve is finally put to the test. I'm interested to see how he gets out of this.

Though I do agree that the non-violence arc took quite some time since it is a monthly manga, I still believe that arc contributed greatly to the overall development of both the story and the characters themselves. But yeah, I agree, I love the fighting in this manga so I can't wait for the next chapter!

this whole 'protecting people' thing in general is laughable. the mangaka must be getting desperate

This is gonna be a difficult fight for Thorffinn... he said that Snake reminded him of Askeladd >.> And that guy was a monster.
